All our resources are published under a Creative Commons license, allowing you to share, tweak and build upon our work. Creative Commons is not an alternative to copyright, but works alongside it. It protects the people who use our work, so they don’t have to worry about copyright infringement, as long as they abide by the conditions we have specified.
Our reports and guidance are published under the license ‘Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported.’ This lets others remix, tweak and build upon our work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit us and license their new creations under the identical terms. All new works based on ours will carry the same license, so any derivatives will also allow commercial use. This is the license used by Wikipedia.
Scottish charities face many of the same challenges as their peers across the UK, but operate in a different context, and do not always have the opportunity to access and learn about good practice from the rest of the UK. Evaluation Support Scotland (ESS) ensures that Inspiring Impact products are accessible and appropriate for Scottish organisations, and applies the lessons from Inspiring Impact’s work to the Scottish context.
